The room I stayed in had such a cozy and welcoming vibe. The rustic wooden furniture and soft lighting made me feel right at home. I loved how spacious the bed was, and the fluffy pillows were like sleeping on clouds. The bathroom was small but totally functional, with a nice, hot shower that was perfect after a long day of hiking. the room had a charming and comfortable atmosphere that I absolutely adored.
Although the bathroom was well-equipped, I personally would have preferred if it had a bathtub instead of just a shower. But hey, that's just my personal preference!

The private parking was just delightful, because who wants to spend time looking for a parking spot? The kitchen had everything I needed, although I wish there were more mugs, you know, to save on washing up. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the location was perfect for exploring.
Oh, and let's not forget the joy of having towels mysteriously disappear from the bathroom. Truly a unique experience!

I got great value for my money at Secret Cottage. The room was cozy and well-designed, with a super comfy bed and enough storage space for all my belongings. The location was excellent for the event I was attending, and the staff treated me wonderfully.
Breakfast choices could be improved with a wider variety of options.

I recently stayed at Secret Cottage for a short break and it exceeded my expectations. The cottage was beautifully designed, providing a cosy and comfortable space to come back to after a long day of exploring. The location was great, with lovely pubs in the village serving delicious food. The cottage itself was quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The kitchen was well equipped, although a few more mugs would have been helpful. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there was ample storage space for our belongings. I will definitely book again if I'm in the area.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

As a senior woman, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this charming cottage in Sedbergh. The elegant decor and cozy atmosphere truly made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for someone like me who values comfort and ease of movement. It was such a delight to relax in the inviting common spaces, surrounded by beautiful furnishings and tasteful decorations.
The only suggestion I have for a better vacation experience would be to have more assistance readily available for us seniors. Perhaps having dedicated staff members who understand the unique needs and preferences of older guests would have made our stay even more enjoyable.

The cottage was great and well designed, offering a cozy and comfortable space to come home to after a long day. It was located in a quiet area, away from the noise of traffic, which was really nice. The kitchen was well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bed was super comfy. Additionally, the location was excellent, with cafes, shops, and wonderful walks just a minute away.
There were a few minor inconveniences during our stay. The TV signal was quite poor, making it difficult to watch shows in real-time.

The Secret Cottage in Sedbergh was an absolute gem! The room was cozy and charming, giving us a warm and homely feeling. We loved the rustic decor and the comfortable bed - it felt like a home away from home. And the shower.oh, it was heavenly! The bathroom was modern and the shower had just the right water pressure. As a laid-back couple, this was the perfect retreat for us.
Honestly, we couldn't find much to complain about at Secret Cottage. But if we had to pick one thing, it would be the lack of multiple bathrooms.

While I usually don't opt for self-catering cottages, I really enjoyed the flexibility of being able to prepare my own meals and unwind in front of the TV. the cottage itself was lovely and cozy, providing everything I needed for a short break. Its convenient location also allowed me to easily explore the surrounding area. I would highly recommend Secret Cottage for its excellent location and comfortable accommodations. Cons: Nothing to fault about Secret Cottage, 💯 recommend! .
